Nothing says Oligarchy or Plutocracy like trying to find ways to stop people from voting, or making it harder and harder.
This country is suffering GREAT apathy from its electorate. Making it easier for people to vote can help bring more and more people into this democracy. Voting should be a right protected under the Constitution and shouldn't require red tape to get registered.
If you have a SSN #, you should be registered. The FEC should handle all voter registrations, and should update addresses by sending a postal letter with an easy code to fill in online, or by phone or text.
All states should have access to the voter DB via an API. For their own tools and data. This type of system would make the most sense.
We request that you consider overhauling the Election System in America to make it easier for ALL Americans to vote, and making it more uniformed thus saving money in all 50 states.
Why is this important?
Because real change in this country can only happen when people are allowed to vote, without discrimination or red tape.
