Enact Automobile Law of Rescission/return to protect consumer
Enact a law of rescission in the auto industry in Arizona/ the right to return a newly purchased car within 2-5 days. Protect financial exploitation of the consumer from corporate manipulation.
Why is this important?
Prevent Auto Corporate entities in Arizona without return policies, from manipulating and deceiving consumers in the new purchase of automobiles. Currently they are protected by ie hiding behind the fact that there is no state law of rescission/return of the auto protecting the consumer. This is a call to the legislature to enact the law for return of automobiles with legitimate reasons within a reasonable time period of 2-5 days. The lack of such a law allows duplicitous corporate profit at the expense of the consumer. Having a law of rescission, the right to return an automobile, will require a higher standard in AZ dealerships that are not currently bound to any ethical or legal standard. This law already exists in other states. It is time that Arizona step up, get proactive.
