Why is this important?
I have recently started a new job after having left my current for better pay.
My new employer does not offer paid sick time off from work. Neither did my former employer.
All Americans deserve time off with pay if they are sick.
No one should have to worry about not being able to pay their bills if they miss work due to illness.
