This petition is to bring attention to all legislative branches of our government local, state and federal that we need to end hiring discrimination based on age. For all of us that are not near the retirement age and still in good physical and mental health need the opportunity to show our worth to all companies that hire workers. For those of us who are 50 and above who lost good jobs to no fault of our own should not be punished because of our age.
Why is this important?
I am 55 years old have been unable to find work for the last 3 plus years and I feel a lot of it is because of my age. I want legislations that prohibits this practice under any circumstances including loopholes that allow businesses and corporations to disquise this.
