I am calling for the permanent end to all state and federal recognition of Confederate monuments, symbols, and historical figures through the elimination and dismantling of any publicly funded monuments and programs that celebrate any symbol or person who served to represent the Confederate Rebellion during the American Civil War.
Their heroes stand as traitors to the United States of America. Their symbols represent oppression, hatred, violence and bigotry.
These symbols have stood in honor of free speech, but this has been escalated to a call to violent action pursuant to the racist and extremist agenda of the Civil War Confederates and so action must be taken to ensure that the United States does not passively accept affiliation with this hateful agenda.
Why is this important?
Because we've already fought one war against the Confederates and another against the Nazis. These two opponents are unified in their racial hatred and so it is apparent that we must destroy these ideas before we are forced to fight a 3rd.
