Thousands of children are killed each year in the name of "discipline". No child should be hit for any reason. Let's end this endless cycle of violence once and for all by making striking a child's body illegal.
Why is this important?
Children should not be hit. Women cannot legally be hit, animals cannot legally be hit, if an adult strikes another adult they will be arrested, yet it's legal to hit a child in the name of discipline without question. Why are the most fragile and vulnerable allowed to be hurt? This needs to stop.
