Introduce a bill or bills to nullify Citizen's United. Currently, the citizens of this country are unprotected from the overreach of corporations, which only serve shareholders, and aren't actually a person. Shareholders refers to financial obligations to a portion of a corporation, not people.
Why is this important?
Corporations, currently, since the advent of Citizen's United, have unlimited power and influence over candidates ability to be elected, ensuring the people don't have a voice in government. Corporations should not be allowed to donate an unlimited amount of money, secretly to campaigns, effectly eliminating democracy and our right to elect candidates of our choice
