End Corporate Personhood
Corporations are not people, so we must end Corporate Personhood immediately. Congress must repeal the Citizens United Supreme Court decision. This decision threatens the one person one vote system of democracy by allowing corporate voices to drown out the voices of individual Americans.
Why is this important?
The idea that corporations should have the rights of people but fewer responsibilities is a travesty. The slime that Super Pacs are foisting on Republican voters is a preview of the new low politics is sinking to. We need a Federal Law or a Constitutional Amendment to change this.
