Why is this important?
During the second incarnation of the Egyptian Revolution, when the uprising realized it was being swallowed by the pervasive power of the military, the demand became "end military rule". It has echoed in my brain ever since. All our problems are the exact same problem and we should zero in on it if we have any hope of insuring any future for our children and grandchildren besides slavery and war over crumbs.
