Immigrants complement the local workforce, rather than compete with it. They contribute mightily to the Social Security System. With the exception of Native Americans, the rest of us are descendants of immigrants. We call for an immediate moratorium on all deportations until there is immigration reform that respects the rights and human dignity of undocumented immigrants.
