Stop dog fighting and puppy mills
Why is this important?
There must be stronger laws for animal welfare. I just saw a picture of a dog used as bait in a dog fight and it is heartbreaking that we live in a country that allows this to continue.
Also, individuals are making tax-free income operating inhumane puppy mills and selling puppies over the Internet and pet stores.
Legislators don't take animal welfare seriously enough to help end animal abuse which is sad because people that abuse animals often abuse children and spouses.
Individuals that participate in dog fighting often are involved in drugs and other illegal activity. This hurts all of us not just the animals. I'm asking The White House and members of Congress to step up to animal abuse. Thank-you
