Deconsolidate media ownership, reinvoke the fairness doctrine to preclude domination by the two major political parties and include third party platforms, and create an objective panel of citizens to review information summarily withheld from the public.
Why is this important?
From diplomatic agendas resulting in attacks on foreign nations to information on UFOs, foods, drugs, vaccines or Fukushima fallout...Americans are kept in the dark. The media no longer questions government/corporate pronouncements or investigates critical issues or presents unbiased scientific opinion. National security has been used as an excuse for unprecedented secrecy, anathems to democracy. Freedom of information is at the governments discression.
