End Police Brutality in DC Now

On November 28th 2012 Mark Vanderhall Jr. was shot 7 times by an on-duty DC police officer. After he had fallen, the officer continued to discharge his weapon by shooting him 4 times while he laid on the ground. Due to the neglect of his injuries while in the care of the Department of Corrections, on January 12th, 2013 Mark Jr. was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery to treat infections to his maltreated wounds caused by the shooting. As of January 17th, 2013 the officer responsible for shooting Mark Jr. has not been
relieved of his duties to investigate the shooting and is still allowed to work our streets.

Let's get justice and fight to end brutality without repercussion from the DC Police Department by demanding a full investigation into the shooting case of Mark Vanderhall Jr. Demand that the officer be removed from duty without pay until the investigation is complete. Demand justice for Mark Jr. and his family due to the senseless violence on the part of the police.

Why is this important?
