The Electoral College is an archaic method, hugely expensive and entirely unfair. Designed hundreds of years ago for a tiny, rural and widely dispersed population, it negates many of our personal votes.
The EC makes possible the election of a candidate who reserves a minority of actual personal votes. This happened 15 times in the last century. Many citizens don't vote because they assume their vote doesn't count and they may be right.
