House Republicans continue to lobby for spending cuts yet they are willing to spend an additional $3 million on the legal defense of DOMA. Stop the Republican hypocrisy!
Why is this important?
House Republicans continue to hold the debt ceiling hostage as a way to get President Obama to agree to the Republicans spending cut ideals. However House Republicans are prepared for an additional $3 million taxpayer dollars to be spent on the legal defense of the Defense of Marriage Act of which the president has already declared as unconstitutional and the supreme court will discuss later this year. If the Republican party is as serious about spending cuts as they say they are then this is one of the cuts that should come first. Stop the Republican hypocrisy.
