The Republicans are doing it again – throwing up obstructions, roadblocks, and unacceptable delays.
They are using the silent filibuster to quietly stymie progressive efforts to protect workers, regulate Wall Street excesses, and rein in big polluters. We’re talking about the Secretary of Labor, the Administrator of the EPA, the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and all five members of the National Labor Relations Board.
See a pattern? These are people whose job it will be to ensure that the big and the powerful are held accountable.
