End the violence in Syria without US Military Involvement
We, the undersigned, recognizing the horror and futility of war, demand a cash reward of at least $10,000,000 be offered by the U.S. government for the delivery -- alive and in good health -- of Bashar al-Assad, President of Syria, to the International Court of Justice to be tried for crimes against humanity. No military involvement is necessary. This is the better way. Justice prevails, peacefully.
Why is this important?
Our nation expresses its sympathy to the citizens of Syria who are suffering and witnessing murder and torture directed at them by Syria's President, Bashar al-Assad. But compassion will not stop the violence. There is another way without the military involvement that risks soldiers and civilians.
We suggest a reward of at least $10,000,000 (that's 0.0000115 of the military part of the approved US Discretionary budget for FY 2012) for the safe delivery of Bashar al-Assad, President of Syria, to the International Court of Justice, for trial on charges of crimes against humanity.
This offer means no military intervention; no one gets killed -- neither military nor civilian, captor or offendor. Justice prevails -- peacefully.
