The War on Drugs isn't Working and There are Better examples of ways dealing with the Problem,, Imagine If Drugs were decriminalized at the User Level so that Our Law enforcement could write them a Citation and They (users) could Pay the fine or sign up for Treatment,, That would free up a lot of Resources to capture and Prosecute Traffickers..
Why is this important?
I Believe I May Be among the Youngest of the First Victims of The War on Drugs Enacted by President Reagan , I was 17 and Stationed at Ft. Irwin (80-81)the Biggest Drug store I had and Have ever seen Not to long after arriving I was Discharged as a Drug Rehabilitation Failure without having Received any Treatment of any Kind .
