Men and women who have been voting decades, served our country or just started voting have now been told they may be a fraud and as a result will have to consider themselves
"unregistered." To get registered again, requires a different
set of steps in each state. All are difficult to impossible for a
lot of American voters. This concerted effort in key states is
to make voting difficult or stop their right to vote altogether.
Since most voters affected are minority, college age or
seniors, who often vote for Democrats, this will change the outcome of the Presidential
election.
Why is this important?
After five years and millions of taxpayer dollars the GW Bush administration closed its investigation into voter fraud. None was found of any significance. Now Republican legislators in swing states have passed laws they say are to "prevent" voter fraud that does not exist.
