Endorse for More After School Programs

Our school aged children are struggling. Many are latch key, over weight, insecure and unprepared for adulthood. When our children struggle academically, the nation suffers economically. This is a community issue, with negative neighboring affects, that can be reversed with nationwide support.

Why is this important?

I experience first hand (by Mentoring youth who are in Detention Centers) the need for more affordable, positive and safe facilities for After School Care. While graduation rates decline, crime and gang activity is on the incline.
