Protect the Second Amendment instead of altering as another petition declares "How many more innocents must die at the hands of an antiquated and oft-misinterpreted amendment? I am am honorably discharged veteran and father of two active duty military personnel who served to not only protect our nation from enemies foreign and domestic, but to protect all articles of The Constitution Of The United States Of America.
Why is this important?
Protect the Second Amendment without altering it in any way as another petition declares. The Second Amendment is sacred and as important to our Constitution as the First and without the Second in place, we will surely lose our First Amendment. Laws are on the books and must be enforced to ensure criminals who use firearms irresponsibly are punished to the fullest extent of the law each and every time.
