Ensure the provision of dignified medical and psychological support for detained immigrants at the US-Mexican border. Besides healthy nutrition, exercise and leisure activities, detainees' welfare both medically and psychologically have to be attended to regardless of their legal situation. They are first and foremost human beings like everyone else. They deserve the mobilization of charity organizations and government support for a safe and dignified existence from the United States of America.

Why is this important?

Traumatized people needed attention first as human beings. This is the responsibility of all human beings. The detained immigrants are at risk of illnesses that has potential to spread to others. In this day of international travel, no one is immune from disease outbreak. Mental pressure is suffering the same way as infectious disease. We have to act now as the detainees are counting down on the 20 day window before an undetermined fate.
