It should be required that all members of Congress should be subject to the same rules and conditions that all other citizens are subject to regarding Medicare and Social Security. No further healthcare benefits or retirement benefits should be made available to members of Congress with the sole exception of the terms of the Affordable Care Act.
Why is this important?
This petition is designed to ensure that members of Congress should not receive from the taxpayers any healthcare or pension benefits greater than any other citizen.
