To: President Donald Trump
EPA- Regulate Smog Standards
Dear President Obama,
As an American who is being exposed to dangerous particulates in the air with every breath I take, I ask you to reconsider your withdrawal of the proposed regulations to reduce concentrations of ground-level ozone, smog's main ingredient.
Your overruling of the unanimous opinion of the EPA's panel of independent scientific advisers is contrary to your promise to bring credibility to the findings of our country's finest scientists.
Your daughters are living in one of the most unhealthy cities in America along with hundreds of thousands of other at-risk children. It's time to start taking the health of our citizens seriously and stop caving in to a few business's accusations about the high costs of meeting regulations.
Sincerely,

Why is this important?
On Friday Sept. 2, President Obama scrapped his plans to tighten smog rules, bowing to the demands of congressional Republicans and business leaders.
Obama overruled the Environmental Protection Agency – and the unanimous opinion of its independent panel of scientific advisers – and directed administrator Lisa Jackson to withdraw the proposed regulation to reduce concentrations of ground-level ozone, smog's main ingredient.
We need to let Obama and the EPA know that this is not about business- this is about the growing health issues Americans face if we don't reduce the effects of smog immediately.
