EpiPens For Our School Program
Help us get EpiPens in Clear Creek, and education for administering them. Minutes could be the difference between life and death when a child has Anaphylaxis Shock. Please help us make a difference.
Why is this important?
My good friend has a child at Clear Creek with severe nut allergies. So severe that he cannot even come into contact with traces of any kind of nut. My daughter is also affected with allergies to nuts and some trees. Unfortunately, we are seeing more and more allergies in our children. We need to make sure that we are prepared if one of them goes into Anaphylaxis shock. In these critical moments our school nurse may not be available. This could be the difference between that child's life and death. Just imagine if your child couldn't breathe. I watched it happen on a small scale with my child and it was one of the scariest moments of my life. Help us make EpiPens accessible all over school and get qualified personnel training to administer them. The cost is low and training can be done online within an hour. Please help us.
