EQUAL TAXATION FOR EQUAL RIGHTS

Stop the imbalance of rights afforded US citizens: allow same-sex marriages in all 50 states of the Union, or allow for tax breaks for those denied the rights and protections of marriage afforded others.

Why is this important?

Why is it that gay Americans are required to pay taxes in the same way heterosexual Americans do -- when they are not afforded the same civil rights?

Either allow homosexuals to marry under the same protections as heterosexuals, or give them a tax break because they don't receive the full benefits of their American citizenship.
