Ex-offenders Right to work with youth

In Missouri Ex-offenders are not allowed to work youth. Their many programs that are founded by ex-offenders and doing great work in the the St. Louis communities that can not get contract or grants because of their pass history.

Ex- offenders that have change their life around and become a productive member of society are can make a big difference in the life of our youth who at- risk of becoming a future offender.

We are ask for the law to be refilled so ex-offers can join their local law enforcement, schools and community organizations that are trying to save our youth.

Why is this important?

This petition is about ex-offenders wanting to join other organizations who are working with our youth, and recieving contracts or grants to provide services.

I have been turned down by organizations to work with their youth because this law is in place. I have offended in over 20 years; I have a organization that's been working with youth and adults that have drug problems or who are in gangs for 15 years. Even though we are known for work and agencies and organizations call on us all the time, we are still limited in our work with those organizations. This law needs to be changed!
