Exclude commercial properties from prop 13

Prop 13 was great for individual homeowners. Unfortunately, it was also great for some of California's largest corporations. Let's tax commercial properties at their current value, not their original purchase price.

Why is this important?

Prop 13 bases property taxes on the original purchase price. While this contributes to the stability of neighborhoods, it is a windfall for commercial properties and deprives the state of needed revenue.
