New parents are bearing the brunt of it as infant formula, diapers, strollers and more are going up in price—essentials that many working families already struggle to afford.
No parent should have to choose between feeding or clothing their child and staying afloat financially, but Trump’s economic policies may force them to do just that.

In a baby’s first year alone, all the commonly purchased items and expenses add up to a whopping $20,384. And now, Trump’s tariffs would make it even more expensive to raise a child in America—all to push a reckless trade agenda.
