To: Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan
Explain the Republican Platform
Join me in calling on Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to verbally explain the details of their party's platform. Americans should hear their assessment of what each plank means for our country and whether or not they agree with the plank (and if not, explain why it is there).
Why is this important?
In attempts to run from their own party's stated agenda, Romney and Ryan are pretending that it really doesn't matter what that platform says. I want them to walk through each plank in the republican platform and identify whether they support or don't support it and why. (And if it's there and they DON'T support it, why is it there?) That is the least the American people deserve.
