Express Bus stops needed in Park Slope

The Park Slope community is requesting the expansion of an existing Express Bus route to Manhattan to serve this neighborhood. We believe that one or two stops in Park Slope could be added to one of the many already existing Express Bus routes in Brooklyn

Why is this important?

Park Slope has no mass transit access for the aging and disabled. Therefore, the only way for residents to go to appointments in Manhattan, including doctor, family , educational and cultural visits, usually requires that they drive or take car service. This increases environmental pollution thus negating an important goal of urban living. In addition , it is an added expense to this population many of whom live on fixed budgets and must deal with the costs of living in New York ,one of the most expensive cities in the USA.
