A petition to the President and Congress to provide to the American people a legal process to expunge bankruptcies caused by unaffordable medical expenses from public and private records and reset all credit ratings to levels before the bankruptcy.
Why is this important?
Millions of Americans have been and are being forced into bankruptcy because of the failure of the countries health care system to provide them affordable health care. Those Americans and their families should not have to bear the burdens of damaged credit ratings and the record of bankruptcy when it was the health care system that had failed them.
