Currently, the President of the United States and Vice President are NOT subject to conflicts of interests laws. This means Trump can use the Presidency to benefit his and his family's business interests. Congress has the constitutional power to extend the existing conflicts of interest law to cover the President and Vice President. The President should NOT be able to use his office for personal gain and influence. We must preserve the integrity of the highest office in this land.
Why is this important?
