Employ an extra 2% state tax on the sale/purchases of firearms and amunition to create revenue to cover the extra expense of protecting our schools and to cover the cost of extra police force for violence created from guns. This tax would be similar to the extra tax placed on tobacco products and alcohol
Why is this important?
We have all been affected by this increased violence. It would help the state with the extra expense of protecting our citizens and schools during these violent attacks. Considering the success of the extra tax on tobacco and alcohol the state and citizens should benefit from this tax. We need it now!
