Factory farm water management plan for California

Big factory farms use 80 percent of our state's water, yet so far Gov. Brown has only required big agriculture to submit "water management plans" -- not to make any actual cuts. There are many steps big agriculture can take to conserve water, like scheduling irrigation when plants need it and expanding drip and sprinkler irrigation.

Why is this important?

We've been asked to reduce the water we use. No one should be exempt, especially the highest users of water in California.
