FAIR FEDERAL PAY ACT
Any elected politician in the legislative or executive branch will have thier pay automatically reduced (to the lowest median pay for a federal worker in the DC area) until a budjet is passed by both partities and the deficit reduced by at least 50%.
Why is this important?
While our governent bleeds money, elected politicians continously vote themselves pay raises, while cutting back room deals to fire or reduce pay for workers who actually provide services.
They have no sense of urgency to correct the issues as people loose thier jobs, homes, and savings. It is the responsibility for both partities to work together and solve issues. Those who cannot, are not doing thier jobs and should have thier pay ADJUSTED ACCORDINGLY.
Both sides of the aisle continue to live from fat salaries and benefits, while the working class dies on the vine with no help.
