Americans are being prevented from getting back to work because employers are using their credit scores as a criteria for hiring them. Thus, people who have low credit scores can't improve them because they are being denied employment based on their credit history. Americans trying to get back on their feet should not be penalized for past acts that are neither criminal nor have any reflection on their ability or desire to work any job they choose.
