Congressional wages have been increased every year for the past 10 years to keep up with inflation. Meanwhile, minimum wage has not been raised but once in the last 15 years. I believe for the sake of hardworking North Carolinians, we need to raise the minimum wage.
Why is this important?
Congress has raised their pay every year for 10 years to keep up with inflation. Yet, the common man of America is still being paid an unfit wage--one that cannot be lived on.
Trickle down economics does not work. It just makes the rich richer and the poor stay poor. Enough is enough!
