Fair trials for all

That the Board of Nursing would hold totally impartial investigations and that all persons on trial will be able to be tried by their peers; peers who have their own cultural background and/or share their race.
That the Board would not be able to add to or change charges simply because they realize that the original charges will not stick or get a conviction.
That persons on trial and/or being investigated will be able to enter proof of their own innocence at any time in that process whether new information or not.

Why is this important?

To ensure that all persons with some form of medical or nursing license receive a fair trial no matter their station in life or their background.
