The rules governing when 40% disabled Veterans can use for free the Westchester County golf courses are unfair. Not being able to play until after 12:00pm and not at all on weekends effectively excludes any working veterans.
There are not enough 40 % disabled veteran golfers to have any measurable impact on county coffers. Let those who served have real access to their chosen recreation.
Why is this important?
I am a 40% disabled veteran, who loves to golf and the rules governing the Westchester County courses severely and unecessarily limit my and other disabled veterans access to these courses.
