Why is this important?
Currently many states allow a developer to erect 500' tall wind turbines near homes with no regard to local regulations. Despite data showing that 30' towers are more efficient, easier to repair and replace, the massive tax credits for the giant towers (tens of thousands have been abandoned over the globe in the past 3 decades) encourage their proliferation. Negatives are ignored.
