We need to pass a Farm Bill that supports local agriculture and stops giving subsidies to large corporate farms and ranches.
Why is this important?
For years major federal subsidies have gone to big Ag (large corporate owned farms) and we need to support the small local farmers and ranchers so that they could supply their local population with healthy lean meat and fresh organically grown fruits and vegetables at a reasonable cost
