Revise the 27th amendment so when the need arises, even the politicians will receive no pay like all the other government workers as in the case of the recent government shutdown.
Why is this important?
Equality was a key thought with the founding of the country. How is it equal for some to continue to receive pay while others with the same employer go without a paycheck. This has the potential to be exploited and must be stopped.
