Please reconsider FEMA claim denials for families rendered homeless by Hurricane Sandy. Policies need to be updated in light of the enormous scope of this storm!
Why is this important?
Following Hurricane Sandy, thousands of people have been left homeless. Many families did not have flood insurance an as such are not eligible for FEMA. Because of the severity and widespread devastation resulting from this storm, consideration should be made for the situations of those families who have been deemed ineligible for disaster assistance.
