Fire Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar

Appointing Ken Salazar is arguably the worst decision Pres. Obama has made since his election. Salazar's inept decisions have tarnished Barack Obama's previously highly rated environmental record. Now, due to Salazar, for the first time in 50 years, an animal once under protections has been de-listed--American wolves. Mother wolves are now being hunted by helicopter, chased until they drop from exhaustion, leaving pups in their dens to starve. Then, he cut off water along the Oregon/CA border at the spot where the most water fowl in the country gather during migration. Over 20,000 birds have died from lack of water and more will follow unless water is turned back on by the Bureau of Reclamation. Every time there is a decision with horrendous consequences for the environment, Salazar is at the root of it. He is dragging down this administration, destroying wildlife in droves and jeopardizing public safety with his endorsement of Monsanto's GMO crops and dangerous herbicides. Pleas urge Pres. Obama to fire Salazar and replace him with someone who cares about protecting the environment.
