Fireworks, short term celebration, long term public nuisance

Fireworks going off any evening throughout the summer months have become an unwelcome intrusion into the peace and tranquility of our beautiful valley. Common sense limitations need to be put in place valley-wide to protect ourselves, our children, our pets, and our environment from the noise and disregard of fire dangers.

Why is this important?

The time of year that I and many, many others might enjoy the most has now become an any night, any time, selfish invasion of explosions and pyrotechnics. People with rudely awakened and scared kids, terrified and trembling pets in need of medication, elderly and/or people battling illnesses who need their rest, veterans with PTSD, and fire dangers all deserve better consideration. A common sense solution for a lack-of-common-courtesy problem.
