Fiscal Cliff Cuts

As the Fiscal Cliff looms and talks turn to cuts in spending, before we look at cutting Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, education, EPA and Social Security, let's cut out truly un-necessary spending. When a politician either retires or is not re-elected, his pay should end and well as his health-care benefits. If a regular person loses their job for any reason or retires, the company they worked for does not continue paying their salary, let alone healthcare benefits. Once a politician is out of office they need to get by just like the rest of us. Either get another job or take your retirement, Social Security and Obamacare just like the rest of us. Politicians are living on the backs of the American people. These are our tax dollars and we should have a say on how they are being spent. Yes, we will all feel some pain and so should politicians, and BEFORE any other cuts are even considered.
