To: The Alaska State House, The Alaska State Senate, and Governor Mike Dunleavy

Foods with genetically modified ingredients should be labeled in the State of Alaska.

The residents of Alaska have a right to know what they are putting into their bodies. There is no evidence to show that genetically modified food is safe for humans to consume—in fact, other countries have banned genetically engineered food. Alaska residents should be able to decide whether or not they want to consume food that has been genetically modified.

Why is this important?

I am tired of playing guessing games on whether or not the grocery purchases that I am making for my family contain genetically modified organisms. GMO's need to be clearly labeled on our groceries so we are well aware of what we are purchasing.
