We demand that the Pennsylvania State Legislature put the health of it's citizens above the profits and campaign donations of the fracking industry, and have the courage and integrity to ban fracking, like our neighbors in New York did.
Why is this important?
Despite the fracking industry's assurances that their processes are completely safe, fracking fluid is now showing up in drinking water in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Fracking companies can only be trusted to protect their bottom line. The health of our citizens should ALWAYS take precedence over corporate profits. It's time our legislators acted accordingly.
