Congressman Scott DesJarlais, newly re-elected to the Tennessee House of Representatives is unfit to hold office. He lied to voters when he denied having at least two sexual affairs with patients while still married.
Why is this important?
According to the Chattanooga Times Free Press, Desjarlais lied when he told voters that he was innocent of having sex with former patients while he was still married. He won election by saying that the Democrats conducted a smear campaign and the allegations surrounding his divorce were untrue.
